    Reducing Tax Advances

    When to Request

Request a reduction when: your income has decreased significantly compared to prior years, you've incurred large one-time expenses, your business is seasonal and the advances are disproportionate, or you've started a new business with lower-than-expected revenue.

    Process

    • Submit a written request to the tax assessor
    • Attach recent financial statements showing reduced income
    • Provide projections for the remainder of the year
    • Receive an updated advance confirmation
    • The reduced rate applies from the month of approval
